SVALBARD ON MAPS
Svalbard first appeared on a map drawn by Willem Barentsz in 1599. The Dutch explorer discovered the archipelago in 1596. The map we used for this t-shirt was made by the French hydrographer and geographer Jacques Nicolas Bellin in 1758.
