GREENLAND DOG
Dogs first appeared in Greenland around 4,000 years ago. They were brought from Siberia by the Paleo-Eskimo people. The Greenland Dogs (Greenlandic: Kalaallit Qimmiat) of today descended from dogs associated with the Thule people, who relied on them for transportation from Siberia 1,000 years ago.
